Latest update from the NUS Economics Alumni! It had recently organized the Alumni Sharing and Networking Event which took place on 29 May 2021 (Saturday) via Zoom and saw a turnout of about 40 Economics Alumni members.
Our speaker for the Alumni Sharing segment entitled “Investments in The Post Pandemic World” was Jonathan Low, who has 5 years of experience in investment banking and private debt investing across EMEA and APAC. Jonathan is an associate in Orion Capital Asia where he works on middle market private debt investments across APAC. He shared insights on different industries which were impacted by covid-19 pandemic and volatility of future markets.
Following the Alumni Sharing segment, networking sessions were run in break-out rooms for participants to connect with like-minded Economics Alumni and students to further enhance on-going professional development.
Truly a wonderful event to see many participants who found the session insightful and the networking session extremely effective in providing a platform to reconnect with fellow Economics Alumni members.
